It looks good and is very warm but the wool started coming off after a while wherever there is friction, especially the hands (so the entire hand and the side of the jacket where the hands hit as you swing when walking).

In southeast Texas one does not get a lot of use out of a heavy coat. But sometimes we do and I need a nice simple coat to wear with business or dressier clothes. All I had was very causal. I have been looking for just the right coat, length, weight and price for years. This one checked all my boxes. It fits perfectly.

I would buy this coat in every single color. I love it so much. It’s very soft and flattering. I had read the previous reviews that said not to size up and I didn’t. I wear a large top and got a large coat and it’s perfect (with even enough room to Wear a sweater under it).

This coat is heavy and feels like really good quality. It’s softer than I expected. It does itch the arms just slightly if I fold it over my bare skin to carry it but anything with wool does that to me and it’s not a big deal. The sleeves are not short on me. For size reference:
